Let’s Party with DND EMCEE SINGAPORE
What a fun crowd! I was the dnd emcee Singapore for Fisher-Tech’s dinner and dance, and because their event was on a Saturday night, they chose the retro theme Saturday Night Fever.
Well the night was certainly feverish.
The audience were full of fun and ready and raring to go right from the start. As a dinner and dance emcee, this makes me very happy, because I can get straight on with the show, because the audience needs very little warm-up.

I also feel, when I am a event emcee, that it’s crucial for the committee to choose the right theme for their guests. Well, the Fisher –Tech committee were spot on with their audience. They knew they would love all things retro, & they did!
NO HOLDS BARRED
The audience were amazing, and up for all the fun and games. As Fisher-Tech has a lot of foreign workers as well as Singaporeans we made sure we catered the fun, games & music to the diverse crowd.
Naturally the Bee Gee’s music from ‘Saturday Night Fever’ played a huge part in keeping the energy high throughout the night.
As the Singapore show host, I started the night quite gently and gradually moved it into a higher gear.
Actually there was no need for concern on our part, as the audience were up for anything.
WHO DOESN’T LIKE TO PLAY DRESS-UP STARTING WITH DND EMCEE SINGAPORE – DONNA?
One of the games we played required me to get a few people on stage to play dress-up. They had to be really sporting, as we had to create the Saturday Night Fever mood, but these guys exceeded my expectations. They were sensational! Not only did they dress up, but they also ‘played up’! Making sure their costumes got the most notice from the audience and also the most cheers and claps when it was time to select a winner.
The whole event was held in the Raffles Town Club, which has a lovely ballroom that can hold about 500 pax. Luckily the boss is a member of the club, otherwise I’m not sure if they can book the ballroom or not.
The grand ballroom is also a great room to work, as it does not have any pillars, and they provide huge projection screens on each side of the room, so, no matter where you are in the ballroom, you still have a great view.
As a dnd emcee Singapore, I loved hosting this event, and I know my team, my beautiful dancers & my trusty VJ/DJ also loved working this event. Thank you Fisher-Tech, we all had the time of our lives.
